With Butt coming back - its a bit of a dilemma.
Who would you use as keane's partner ?

a surprisingly consistent Veron?
a tough oppenent Butt?
a creative Scholes? <img src="graemlins/smirk.gif" border="0" alt="[Smirk]" />
or tackling machine Neville? <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" />

not sure but Veron gets the vote cos Scholes will almost certainly be playing of Ruud now. feel sorry for butt though...

Butt and Keane is not a good idea in a four man mdifield IMO.

And if that's the case, it agains raises the question - how can we expect a top striker to come to Old Trafford.

The only alternative is a striker who can play behind Ruud, and where does that leave Scholes, apart from in midfield - where he belongs.

Do what we did in the Treble season - play Keane and Butt away, where we mainly need to prevent teams scoring, and Veron and Keane at home, where we mainly need to score goals.

Keano and Scholes, both can defend and both can attack when needed. They are the perfect combination, their styles compliment each other :D

I'd swap between Scholes and Veron, depending on whose in the better form. When one isn't playing all that well then swap them and give the other the chance to grab that spot. Then they would know that just a small run of bad form would give the other the advantage.

Keane and Scholes are my ideal pairing -- but depending on the situation Veron could replace Scholes and even Butt could make his way in there depending on the game!

Dpends on the Game really

Ideally Id play Veron and Keane with Scholes playing off Ruud

Harder Games
Keane Butt and Scholes.
(But this is assuming an on song Giggs)

Sorry no matter how much Seba has improved I think he should be saved for Europe. Keane and Scholes in the league.

Scholes seems to have settled in to the more advanced role, 11 goals this season so far have proved. So it comes down to a choice of 3. Personally i'd go for Seba. He's the only real creative one out of the remaining choices, and he's actually started to tackle. Although European football returns next month so we could see Seba be rested a bit in the league.

When we go to Highbury i'd like to see Phil Nev. piss all over Vieria again. Twice in 1 season would be funny as feck.
