we've already signed 3 in bruno cheyrou, salif daio and el hadji diouf. markus babbel returning will be like signing a new player as well.

perhaps one more for us, maybe two. . .

Well i think...

One of:

Ronaldo, Duff or Di Canio

and

One of:

Rio, Ayala or Southgate.
 
Well if its Ronaldo then it cant be Rio and vice versa. Those 2 would cost about 70 million.
That should give the board some nightmares for a while....... ;)

Id say its one big one (30 million) and a few (2) 8 to 10 million players.
 
i really, really can't see inter milan selling the buck-toothed wonder after his renaissance at the world cup. . .i'd forget about him if i were you.

Cant really predict these things cos we dont know who's leaving.

Silvestre, Blanc, Veron, Barthez, Keane, Ruud have all been recently linked with moves away from OT and each one would require massive massive changes to our Summer strategy.

Certainties

One defender
One attacker.

We will definitely get one defender, and very probably one attacker. Nesta won't come as I've said it 100 times. Now Rio's situation is very puzzling. Although Risdale said he is not for sale, I think we still have chance if we really try hard enough. That'll be 30m for Rio and around 15m for another attacker. May be 10m more for one more defender if Blanc also leave. In order to make fund for that, Veron will very probably go if someone come in and make a good offer.

2. Veron ain't going nowhere offers or not.
3. Rio ain't comming and we don't need him!
3. Another center back i.e Hofland/Van Bueyten/Ayala will come if we EVER sign Rio...(Sign Rio?) <img src="graemlins/nono.gif" border="0" alt="[No No]" />
$. A forward and a left midfielder will join too.
