Just a bump to ask a question here - anyone recall the likelihood of big players featuring in the final friendly before the start of the season? Specifically Ronaldo?
I'm trying to get my 7 year old nephew to see him live, he worships Ronaldo and supports United because of him :lol:

But unsure if Ronnie will feature. I have a hunch its worth the punt, its a week before our opening fixture to Brighton so assuming some first teamers will need to get match rhythm.
 
I'd say there's a fair chance he will get some minutes. Hope your lad gets to see his hero and remembers it for a long long time, what football should be about!

The game at OT is the day after the first team play Atletico, so I wouldn’t bank on Ronaldo playing vs Vallecano.
The official club app was billing it as a chance to see reserve players, like Hannibal and Garner.

Stop being tight and take him to Madrid! :lol: ;)
 
Ronaldo seems like could be leaving, so I wouldn't hold your breath.

Thats not ideal because we are covering second most miles out of any team in our pre season. Can imagine its v tricky juggling detailed training plans with heavy travel.

Wasn’t he recently quoted as saying how much he’s looking forward to working with Ten Hag? or has some twitter nobody put it out there that he’s leaving and you believe it?

Clubs normally play pretty much the full team in the last friendly before the season starts, unless they’re playing two games close together where one might be the first team and the other a reserves line up
