Man Utd XI and Wigan coming to Carrow Road

Norwich City have confirmed two home friendlies as part of the Canaries' pre-season schedule.

Saturday, July 25 will see former United player and now reserve manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer bringing a Manchester United XI to Carrow Road (3pm).

This match will be followed by former Canary Steve Bruce bringing his Premier League Wigan Athletic to Carrow Road on Saturday, August 1 (3pm).

Tickets for these matches are priced at £10 for adults, £5 for under-21s/over-60s and £3 for under-16s. Tickets are on general sale from 9am on May 18 with season ticket holders having until June 20 to claim their seat before they are released for general sale.

You should make a list with dates and time of each match and then keep adding them in as and when they are announced... and we will ensure that this thread is the one constantly updated with all the info..

So to begin with we have:

July 25 Norwich V/S Man Utd XI (3pm).
 
The Altrincham game is August 4th - their fans seem to think it's our first team we'll be sending. Seems unlikely...
 
The date v Luton Town has been announced.


"The Hatters are delighted to announce that Premier League Champions Manchester United will visit Kenilworth Road for a pre-season friendly on Tuesday 28th July kick off 7.45pm.

Sir Alex Ferguson has agreed to send a Manchester United XI to take on Mick Harford's side ahead of our 2009/10 campaign in the Blue Square Premier.

The match with United will mark the launch of a new initiative set-up by supporters to raise money for the club's youth development department."

Yeah it'll be a 'United XI'. But pick of the pre-seasons for me as I'm not going to Munich.
 
The Lancashire Senior Cup final (vs Bolton) will be played on Monday August 17th, 7.45pm KO. The County Ground in Leyland is the venue again.
