"We have four more games to play, the next two games are at home at Old Trafford and we will try to get as many points and win as many games as we possibly can. In order to do that we need to play on the best level we possibly can. Chelsea is a good team but we know that if we play well it's poss to win the game tomorrow. I don't think it makes sense now to still speak and speculate about the Champions League, we need to be realistic. Even if we win all four games it's not in our hands, what is in our hands is how we play, our level of perferformance. It's important for this season to finish on the best poss note."
"He should be back in training on Friday, the day after the Chelsea game, according to the doctor he will be back in training. He has been out for quite some time."
"It's possible [Garnacho and youngsters], we have quite a few players missing tomorrow, one or two still with question marks. (We have to see if) Aaaron Wan-Bissaka can be available, I already played Hannibal at Liverpool, it's possible but we have to be fair enough to those players, it has to be the right moment. They should have the chance to play well and perform well, it should be the right moment."
"Fred is unfortunately not yet available, he tried to train yesterday and afterwards I had a conversation with him and with a player like Fred it doesn't make sense with a muscular injury to play him too early as we would take the risk of re-injury. Apart from that, Harry Maguire is not available tomorrow, he has some issues with his knee. He didn't train yesterday and today. Paul obviously, Fred, Luke Shaw, Jadon is ill - he has had tonsillitis since yesterday, couldn't train today and won't be available tomorrow. We will try to play the best possible team, right now we have 14 in our professional team and the youngsters available and three or four players will be part of the squad."
"Obviously, if results are not going well and we lost three of the last four games, the morale, energy in the locker room isn't as good as it would be, still we have to perform, this is what we're getting paid for, it's important for the players, knowing the new manager, to show we are able to beat a team like Chelsea, this is our job, this is what everyone has to do and this is what we have been working for."
"Of course, it would be better if we played Champions League next season but this also affects other clubs, it's not only a problem Manchester United has, the renewal of the contract of Bruno shows this is an attractive club, with a new manager, new approach, this is still a massively interesting club and I look forward to helping Erik and everyone at the club to get the best and change the whole approach next season so Manchester United can be a top club."
I bet he wants to strangle a few players with his bare hands. He looks very frustrated
Why is he reluctant to play kids?
Because he doesn't want to cut their legs out from under them by throwing them in the deep end in this toxic environment.
He wont beNo Sancho then, unfortunate.
Let's hope Rashford is in the mood or he will get demolished by Reece James.
A question I would ask:
"Bruno has been in terrible form lately , no G/A in last 7 games and last game missed sitter and penalty kick and gave away a error leading to the 3rd conceded goal. Do you think the contract extension and increased compensation with him is pre-matured before the new permanent manager has been decided, taken his last contract deal would not expire in near term ?"

Id say the reason for it is to get them used to being in and around first team match day squads, used to the routine and the experience, so that when they do start playing its not all totally unfamiliar to them?Which is all well and fine, but then it's entirely redundant to place Garnacho and Hannibal on the bench for a number of consecutive games if those games are deemed too toxic for participation. I've heard some say, "for the experience", but really, there's no provable benefit of sitting an U23 on the bench purely for experiential purposes. None that can be proven, anyhow. The act of filling bench positions with non-competing individuals is an exercise in futility.
Normally, yes, but I'm beyond that now - I want someone who will go out onto the field and show some passion. It's not happening with the regular first-teamers, so let's see what the youth are willing to do. I mean, a loss is a loss. The fans will probably go easier on the kids and take it out on the manager instead, and he's probably more than willing to take a heap of unwarranted blame. Rangnick's in a lose-lose situation anyway.Id say the reason for it is to get them used to being in and around first team match day squads, used to the routine and the experience, so that when they do start playing its not all totally unfamiliar to them?

That Rashford seems a long way away unfortunately!Hope not. That boy always scores against us. Like Chicarito and Tevez
