Our biggest enemy is going space crazy through lon
Danijel Pranjic has just signed for Bayern for a fee of 7 million euros (rising to 10). But what is more important for us is that he plays left winger which means that Ribery will most likely leave...

I'd post link but you guys probably won't understand since it's in Croatian...:D

podolski will leave

surely real cant sign both kaka and ribery

Good signing for them.. Here is a link I found:

Bayern Munich have agreed a deal to sign Croatia international Danijel Pranjic from Heerenveen.

The 27-year-old midfielder, who can also play at left wingback, was strongly linked with a move to Liverpool last month and admitted it would be a ‘dream’ to move to Anfield.

However, it is believed Bayern have now tied up a €10 million (£8.7m) deal for Pranjic and the player says he is delighted with the switch.

“I can say that I am overjoyed,” he said. “It is a great club.

“I will do all I can to justify the faith of [Bayern coach] Louis van Gaal.”

Reports suggest the transfer could end any potential move for Barcelona's Alexander Hleb.

Course they can. All the dutch players will be gone though, meaning they also need to sign a striker.

Why so?

Pranjic is leaving for China. I'm translating his quote but it was something like this.

There's not a chance I could have turned an offer like this down. The money I get are unbelievable.

He'll get 11 million euros the next 2 years and they will pick him up in a private jet right after the final and he'll get a personal driver and get's to pick whatever house he wants. Basically everything he wants he'll get.

The club wasn't stated. He'll sign after the CL final so it isn't a done deal but the way he talks about it, it sounds like all that's left is his signature.

He's 30 years old. He'll play there for 2 years or something and make a shitload of money. Would be perfect for him if he finishes of with a CL medal. Wouldn't be too bad at all.

Very strange for Bayern now, loads of wide players at that club now...Has to be some players exiting

God damn, I love hearing about these random players moving to China for big cash. Wish I was one of them.

He was never good enough for a club like Bayern Munich.

But that is a amazing deal for him.

I don't think he was so bad as a squad player. Like Altintop last year. He can play different positions and has a high work rate. But he for sure is not good enough to make a starting position. Heynckes made the mistake not to put a player like him in the rotating system from start of the season and they did not have much injuries. He was used lately to give others rest - but he just lacks the link-up to the other midfield players.

But he is like Olic member of the Croatian team for the Euros.

Indeed. Anelka I could get, he was famous and played for a lot of top clubs across Europe. On what basis have they chosen Pranjic and Barrios though? Two average footballers.

I actually think the Chinese Super League has a greater chance at being a decent league than the MLS does in the long run. I'm pretty sure I watched Guangzhou against Shandong, reminded me of the time I went to watch York v Altrincham

Simple really. Those two would be stars in most leagues in the world. China definitely. Probably everything that's not East-Asian is a luxury player and automatically considered better by virtue of nationality. As a team saying you're buying a player from Bayern is a big deal.

I think they're targeting the right market in these players. Not from the biggest footballing nations, good enough to be starters for a good team in a top league in Europe. Still playing with the international team or at least has done so very recently. It gets them attention. If they were buying from the Greek league it wouldn't get as much attention. I'm sure a lot of people here don't know that Balazs Dzsudzsak joined Anzhi or even who he is in the first place despite him being a good player that' probably better than both of them.

Impossible. China just doesn't have a sporting infrastructure and has never in its history supported sporting leagues. You also have a population who doesn't care, corruption that makes Seria A look like just fibbing, and overly inflated wages that can't be sustained. And while there's money involved, in China you need government support and it's not there.

It'll resemble the NASL when the likes of Best, Cryuff, and Pele played. A bunch of wealthy guys bought teams and players then got bored bankrupting the league. Or the Indian League which never even played a game

Dszudzsak was class at PSV. I noticed a while ago that he is now at Dinamo Moscow. You know why it didn't work out at Anzhi?

I actually forgot about that. Dinamo met the release clause and it probably would have something to do with Anzhi being overflowing with players in his position. Zhirkov, Boussoufa and Carcela-Gonzales. So they probably didn't have much problem letting him go because he's a foreigner and there's a limit to how many you can play at a time. They were lacking defenders and bought Samba in the same transfer window. Smart trade I'd say.

I remember he got injured as well, so probably not a bad move on their part as you say.

At the end of the season he might be CL runner up and CL winner - ok, he just has played one match against Manchester city in this run...

Beckham and Henry or Butt and Pranjic?

Hmm...

Honestly believe most would choose living/playing in the states over the millions on offer to play in China. I wouldn't be surprised to see Anelka turn up in the US eventually, granted he's always been about the money so he'll probably go to the Middle East next stop.
