In other news, Blackburn Rovers are ready to snap up midfield prospect Michael Potts from United. The teenager turned out for Rovers youths at the weekend, making two goals on a sparkling debut, and could be offered a contract.

Were we releasing him, not offering him a pro deal, or what was the story here, anyone know?

Tony, any inside info on this one? Also, any details on Scott Wootton, did he sign a pro contract with us etc?

He was released last week.
 
Were there any other players released?? Is it known which players get scholarships??
