Alright lads.

The end of the season is closing in. After doing the player ratings today I was kinda curious to know, who's my player of the season (based on post match ratings only). I haven't really paid attention to the average rating during the season, but out of curiosity I wanted to find out who has the highest score. I was sure Harry Maguire would score the lowest and Ronaldo probably the highest. But I was wrong. Here are my ratings - i've left out some of the youngsters though:

Jones 6.0
Varane 5.7
Bruno 5.7
De Gea 5.5
Cavani 5.4
Elanga 5.4
Lindelöf 5.3
Telles 5.2
Ronaldo 5.1
Sancho 5.1
Donny 5.0
Greenwood 5.0
Maguire 4.9
McTominay 4.9
Martial 4.6
Rashford 4.6
Shaw 4.6
AWB 4.5
Mata 4.5
Fred 4.4
Matic 4.4
Pogba 4.4
Dalot 4.3
Lingard 3.8
Bailly 1.0

I know there are some discrepancies, but it's kinda interesting I think. I might not have voted after every match Bailly has featured in :) Not really a pleasant view this...

How does your ratings compare to mine? Any surprises on your lists?

How do you find this out do you have to visit every thread individually ?

on a side note have you seriously got Bruno as your player of the year? Given that Varane and Jones haven’t played enough. He’s been absolutely awful.

I went to every player in the player performances forum, yes. And you are absolutely right, Bruno has been poor this season. That's why I find it interesting. Kinda surprised about it too, but he must have been one of the players who has been the most consistent. At least that's what my ratings show.

Surprises are: Bailly, Martial and the rather harsh rating for Mata.

I think my ratings come out slightly more generous than the average Cafe ratings and I think I must have only voted for Bailly once when he had one good game, can't think why he'd be that high otherwise.

Haha. I think you've been too kind to Nemanja Matic as well.
 
I don't know how to extract these ratings bar typing them manually, but from what I can see I have De Gea down as our goalkeeper of the season.

Definitely. Would love to know how many times I voted for each player as I disagree with some of my own scores! I didn't always vote after every game but still I think I was too generous with some players.
 
De Gea is mine so far but I'd wait till the season is over to give to anyone.

If Ronaldo somehow drags us to the CL, I don't care about numbers, he gets it

Holy moly. I bet you haven't handed out many 10 ratings during the season. :) When you look away from the ratings, De Gea should be up there again this season. But I recall several matches this year when he's made some costly blunders. It's a weak team we've got, sadly.
