Potential Virus?

While on the general forum I got message from AVG saying that the page might have potential "phishing" files and has been blocked. Have never gotten this message before. Anyone else have this problem and is it dangerous?

Were you in any particular thread?

It's possible that someone posted a link/photo or something that contains malware. Happens from time to time and is generally unintentional on the part of the poster.

Likely a false positive, RedCafe is a kind forum (especially to Chadwicks).

I've had that on forums before. Someone might have been phising the Caf looking for something or a piece of information, just a more complicated search function really.

Probably no help, but I had a similar issue, turned out to be text from a spam email that was pasted into a thread. https://www.redcafe.net/f14/false-positive-i-hope-282989/

Ah got it must've been the ads then. Sorry for not taking a screenshot but I haven't received the message since the one time I got it. I scanned my computer and it found no threats so it looks like everything is fine.
