Well we got there in the end and another important away win. That was probably a more nervy victory than it should have been. We were well in control at half-time but Watford's goal gave them renewed belief and we were hanging on towards the end.
Would be nice if we could be more clinical with our counter-attacks. So many wasted opportunities and it's not the first time we've been like that in games.
Credit to our defence, Smalling, Lindelof and Fellaini did really well in the face of a lot of Watford pressure. After that disastrous defensive display at Brighton we look a lot more solid at the back. And of course, there were a few epic saves from De Gea in there too!
Up to eight, wooh!
Watford 0:1 Man Utd - Lukaku (34')
Watford 0:2 Man Utd - Smalling (37')
Watford 1:2 Man Utd - Gray (65')
