Stoke City 1-0 Manchester United - Mata (19' OG)

Stoke City 1-1 Manchester United - Wayne Rooney (94')

In a weekend where Liverpool and 1 of Spurs/City drop points at least, we claimed 1. Typical us over these past few seasons, just not enough.

We controlled most of the game, wasted many chances and have only ourselves to blame even though the referee was abysmal (it's no coincidence that we haven't won with him in charge of our games this season).

In summary: Our shot conversion utterly stinks.

Terrible performance but Rooney's dramatic record breaking goal makes it feel like a win. Weekend rescued.

2 points dropped.

Most frustrating match in years.

Most dominate we have been at an away game in years.

Absolute bollocks.

Only positive is Rooney scoring a fantastic goal to become our all time goal scorer

You had this ready to copy and paste didn't you

2 points dropped .. Stoke away isnt easy, but we had a great chance to close in on the top 4.. Wasted opportunity.

We are so bad at finishing chances. Pretty disappointed with a draw.

That Rooney goal though. Feck me.

2 points dropped I'm afraid.

Finishing is utterly unacceptable and has been for months.

We can't get top 4 if it carries on as we drop points to crap sides like today.

I aint celebrating that draw, anyone who thinks drawing against that pub team is acceptable needs their head checking. 2 points thrown away!

Hope Rooney getting that goal means he can fcuk off now.

Two points dropped. We should've won 3-1 at least, absolutely peppered their goal. Oh well, need to win out.

Point ok in circumstances. So late it feels better.

We weren't great especially second half. Only poor finishing let us down in first half.

Clattenburg is an incompetent cnut. Should've had two penalties.

Undefeated run continues.

2 massive points dropped especially with the Liverpool result, at least Rooney salvaged a draw for us.

We need to take our chances, goal scoring column is abysmal.

I'm not sure if this is even possible but it feels like a huge point gained (or saved) and two huge points lost.

Do we actually practise shooting? Almost every shot we take is appalling.

Knew we wouldn't win. We have to go on a winning run again now. We are in danger of losing touch with the top 4 again.

Horrendous result. Typical poor finishing from us caused that situation. Just score your chances in the first half and you don't have to chase the result in the second.

Mata cost us the 3 points. Didn't track his man for the goal, then got the deflection for their goal. Missed an open goal and had a poor game.

Zlatan was poor also.

Two points dropped. Not good enough. Those who are responsible for scoring/creating goals need to get their act together.

Great free kick and congratulations Rooney on the record but we really should have won that. A point is better than none though.

Not a bad point for United considering the earlier result but opportunity lost to close the gap. United needed the 3 points to stay on the heels.

We seem determined to throw away our chances of Champions League qualification. Feels like West Ham at the end of last season.

Our performances have been steadily getting worse. It's a miracle we're still on an unbeaten run.

Typical United, though. Can't capitalize on anything.

No idea how Stoke escaped with a point. One of the most one-sided games I've seen this season.

Loved how Rooney didn't even celebrate. He just broke a 40 year record and became our highest ever goalscorer, but not as much as a smile. Straight back to the half way line, and Giroud can suck a bag of dicks.
