3 points. People are way too emotional. Palace played with 11 men behind the ball for at least 75 out of 90 minutes. We looked very solid considering it was Blind and McNair at the back. Carrick was massive. Shaw was very good.

Shocking performance and relieved to get the 3 points.

Can someone explain the Fletcher/McNair sub to me please?

Hopefully Van Gaal ends his experimentation with Januzaj and Fellaini and restores Mata and Herrera next time.

Dire and slow. Important 3 points though. Don't want to see that 11 in that formation any time soon though.

Didn't see the match and heard it was pretty unremarkable.

Given our injuries, I'll take the win.

Not a great peformance but I'm happy with three points today. With Liverpool losing, we simply had to win this easy fixture.

A win is a win but god that was a below par performance again against a poor side. Much more work to be done.

We were shit. Luckily for us, Palace were even worse.

The good news is that we didn't shoot ourselves in the foot defensively in the 2nd half.

Shit is the only word that comes to my mind.

Drop this shitty 4141 formation. Januzaj is completly off form, ADM is shit on the wing, he's looking dangerous when inside the field. Play Mata and stop pretending he's 'not putting himself around enough', he's our top joint scorer this season ( alongside ADM, Rooney, RVP ).

3 years to rebuild? More like 5 after that shocking performance.

We'll be extremely lucky to clinch 4th if we continue this terrible form.

I still can't understand how we struggle so badly to create chances. We frequently make the wrong decisions in the box, passing they should shoot - shooting when they should pass.

We need runners up front, players who stretches defences. RVP and Rooney are too static.

We were in control for 90% of that game, our attacking in the final third seriously needs looking at though.

Positives: Clean sheet, only 1 defensive feck up, McNair looking good, Shaw looking great
Negatives: Are supposed 'big hitters' all had awful games

Horrendous first half, mediocre second half.

Relieved with 3 points, though.

Hopefully Van Gaal ends his experimentation with Januzaj and Fellaini and restores Mata and Herrera next time.
Fellaini played well, as sickening as it is for some. Januszaj, not so much.

That was just terrible, can't believe we sat back against Palace at him. Played the wrong players at the start, wrong formation, best players out of position and the subs were poor too.

3 points though.

Rooney and Fellaini are rubbish midfielders. Neither have the passing, first touch or vision to dominate a game when the opposition sits deep. Has LvG fallen out with Herrera or something?

Disgustingly bad performance.

DDG
Valencia - Carrick - Blind - Shaw
Fletcher
Fellaini - Rooney
Mata
Persie - Wilson

Who needs a defence? Only thing missing now is Young for Shaw at LB.

That was some midtable football right there. Bereft of movement and creativity.

We will need to grind out results and results ultimately are all that matter in the end.

McNair and Shaw were great.
