Lots of really good performances. Garnacho, Mainoo, Dalot, and dare I say for large chunks of the game, Hojlund.

I don’t know what happened to Malacia but that was a really bad first half. I don’t expect him to see a lot of minutes because Dorgu, as well as Dalot and Mazraoui playing the wrong side would be much better options.

Really enjoyed that 2nd half. Nice to see what the system can look like when it works. Oppo notwithstanding. Onward and upwards.

The system is shaping up nicely and we saw the potential of how fluid it will be in the second half. I think the slow pedestrian football, is getting the players drilled into movement and positional for the formation. Just need to add more quality in key positions in the summer and we will be formidable under Amorim and exciting to watch since inherently he is an attacking coach, but understands foundations need to be laid before we can be on the front foot from the get go.
