Post in newbies

Instead of just asking to be allowed to post in there, tell the mods what you can offer in there, except from, obviously posts, tell them why you deserve to be able to post in there ;)
 
There is going to be a revamp of who can and cant post in the newbies, with literally about 6 people being handpicked to help the newbies along. The rest of you will have to like it or lump it. Read what it says above the newbies door "for newbies only"

The posters need the right balance of intelligence, wit, judgement and, most importantly, a sense of decorum. My six nominees would therefore be:

Noodle
Plech
Big Andy
Jason
Spoony
and, of course, Slabber
 
I think Beacon would be a fantastic addition to mix with the newbies.

The trick is finding the good ones amongst the cretins.

Although recently with all the "Praise KK"; "Who Loves KK?"; and "Cybersex with KK" threads, it has been a little more of a pisstake.

Although amongst the pisstaking I did find one good one.

May I add a bird? Giggsygirl as the token bird. We'll just call her Token a la South Park.

I've noticed theres quite a few people who can still post in there
 
There was a very silly thread in there today about whether United should sign Ledley King as a defensive midfielder. I'd like to have pointed out that he is in fact a centre-back who is good enough to do a job in midfield when called upon and no more, but I couldn't.

I often find myself in the same situation (wanting to point something out, not having to play in midfield when called upon, although I reckon I could do the job).
I think we should make a sticky thread where we can refer to newbie threads etc...

I'm not sure why everyone isn't allowed to post in the Newbies. It would ensure a higher standard of Newbie made it through. Certainly worth a try at least.

An example: Madrid - a genuine retard of the highest order. How he made it through the vetting process, I will never know.

He only posts after a Real win, and that doesn't happen as often anymore, so he got through...

I object to him responding to my posts, or any for that matter, with inane drivel from a position of complete ignorance and stupidity. I know it's not that uncommon but he just shouldn't be here.

I feel the same, he doesn't seem to take notice of anything that happens outside of the Football Forum though...
