Does every post you make count, or are are there other rules around length, number of characters etc? Sometimes, the counter doesn't change when users add comments. I'm sorry if this is dunderheaded question!
Every post adds one to your post count.
I made a handful of comments in last night's match thread and, looking at the last 4, the count stayed at 1550. I could never claim to be a prolific poster, despite the fact that I read the forum every day, so I was just worried that I'd get flung off if it looks like I never post.
