Do we feel any of the current batch would benefit from finishing the current season on loan elsewhere and if so who?

Also for any rumours you have heard about activity next month!

Nobody looks to be on that level yet in all honesty. Wheatley should push for it as he’s going to be 19 with barely any minutes.
Over half the u21s is on that level.

Wheatley has interest from several clubs, almost certain to go.
Murray had interest in the summer before an injury.
Mather will go if fit too.
Amass is pushing for first team football and has interest.
Kingdon & Jackson have impressed against senior opposition. Kingdon has interest I know of.
Ethan Ennis is too good for u21s.
Dan Gore is obvious.
Habeeb Ogunneye is physically ready and experienced a lot of first team training.
Ethan Williams isn’t far off either.

I think Ennis and Mather are the two most obvious. Wheatley a strong possibility. Gore and Collyer depends on whether they are on manager's plan at all. Ogunneye and maybe Kingdon other possibilities. Maybe Fredricson too.

Do remember reading that Scanlon had interest a couple of months ago.

Daily Mirror and Daily Mail are saying Championship clubs are looking at Harry Amass, Dan Gore and James Scanlon but United want to ensure whatever clubs they go to will benefit their development and guarantee them game time.

Some discussion that RVN would like to take him on loan at Leicester.

Agree on this, and all those players have no benefit of U21 football. Even League Two loans like the ones Benett and Aljofree got recently are better than playing for U21. They both have around 15 matches already in senior competition and while they won't be our players for a long time, they will certainly have career in football in the next few years. The players listed here, all have a similar chance at least, and some even better. Also I think Curley should get a loan as well.

I would not mind all of those players getting League One or League Two football with guaranteed minutes, instead of Championship loan with limited chances. The most important for them is to play against grown ups in meaningful games.

I'd be shocked if Amass went on loan to Leicester. Would require them to terminate Edouard's loan, which is entirely possibly given he's hardly played, but then I doubt they'd use their other loan slot on a 17-year-old.

Yea id say no chance. Young player loans in the Premier League just simply don’t happen. There is typically only 1-2 at most a season and they are more experienced ones or with buy options.

You’d have to be one of the best 17 year old ever to get a first loan in the Premier League.

If Leicester are seriously interested it will be with the view to a permanent move. With our cost cutting I wonder if it is on the table. I know Harry’s camp aren’t impressed with the u21s setup so they’ll be pushing for senior football immediately. He isn’t even getting to train with the first team now so can’t imagine they are happy with that either. Considering he ditched Watford despite being in first team squads I wouldn’t be surprised if he was happy to move on here either unless we had a solid plan for him. Given our history though we don’t have any real plan for anyone going on loan though.

I know they're only League One but if Wycombe made an offer for Amass or Gore I'd consider it. An in-form title chasing side is a better environment than a struggling team in the league above and they have space for loan players as two of them did a little bit too well and got recalled by their parent clubs.
