Possible left back - Silvinho?

He did a reasonable job when Ash Cole was out and could be a relatively cheap option, has PL experience. Is he still at the Arse??

Can anyone tell me exactly why do we need to buy a LB when we already have two in our team?

If he's not good enough for the arse he is not good enough for us.

Arsenal are better than Man Utd though.

:)

You're an arse. Signed Bowyer yet... no complications ?

What does that have to do with what I said?

I didn't say that it would all go smoothly though did I.

"It's just a matter of Bowyer signing the contract" - I recall

You stated that if he isn't good enough to play for Arsenal, then he isn't good enough for Man Utd.

I then stated that are Arsenal are a better team than Man Utd, so Silvinho is good enough for Man Utd.
:)

That statement has absolutely no logic whatsoever. Try harder.

Maybe some other Liverpool supporter said that, but I knew it wouldn't be completed in the first few days. It's a fact that Gerard Houllier tries to offer the least amount of wages as he can go, and we all know Bowyer isn't the type of player who would go with whatever wages is offered.

:)

It's not hard to work it out is it? - oh, I forgot, maybe for you.
:)

The fact is, Silvinho is better than Silvestre at leftback.

:)

I'm sure there's logic in that statement...

and, yes, it was you.

Things are obviously hard for you to work out though aren't they? Any player who is deemed as not being good enough and who is subsequently let go by his club is not good enough for my club. Note, we don't buy players who aren't deemed good enough by former clubs. We buy players who want to improve themselves and play at the highest level and usually we buy players who go on to do just that.

I want Bowyer to sign, yes, but I knew there would be complications before the deal was done and dusted, end of story.

Or, you go and spend vasts amount of money on 1 player who is overrated, and flops badly for a whole season AND world cup?

:)

such as laurent blanc who couldn't even get a game in inter's notoriously leaky defence. . .

;)

Blanc is an exception. Fergie has obviously had the horn for him for years. As for Veron, I said "usually". ;)

I actually rate Silvinho. Going forward he was as dangerous as Carlos. He scored some excellent goals and was pretty solid at the back.

It would be a decent signing imo.

actually he moved to Celta de Vigo, but he still doesn start too many - competes with Juanfran who made the Spanish starting XI at the WC

good player, not brilliant, would be a good addition, but, don't think he's cheap
