--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Real Madrid are considering the sale of young striker Javier Portillo.

The Spanish U21 international is being tracked by several Premiership clubs, including Manchester United, Newcastle and West Ham.

Real chiefs rate Portillo very highly, but given the overload of attackers in the present squad, believe he represents the best way of bringing in fresh funds in the summer.

The youngster's buyout clause is £10 million and Real are now considering whether to offer him to interested clubs.

Valencia and Barcelona are also keen on Portillo, though Real are likely to prefer to sell him to a foreign club.

Portillo also revealed that he may forced to leave Real Madrid if he fails to play more often before the end of the season.

"My future will be decided in June," he continued. "I want to stay here at Madrid, but the club has to sort that out with the representatives."

"I want to stay here for the whole of my career. But i need to be appreciated more and at the moment I am not."

"Every time I come on for five minutes I do not have a chance to prove anyhting."

What do you guys think of this?
I've not seen enough from him to know if he's United class but he looks like he good prospect!

He is United class and might be the one who can play as the firts striker when Ruud is injured or tired. I think we are to dependent on him and should get another "first striker" preferably a young and talented :D .

Im interested, any that has broken all Rauls youth team scoring records has to be some use?
