pop up windows

is there anyway to avoid the pop up windows in this forum? i just got one about a survey which i couldn't close and it really pissed me off!

Hate to sound like a broken record, but use Firefox and you won't get any unwanted popups.

Come to think of it I never even get those "Firefox has blocked a pop up" messages either.

Perhaps IE should incorporate some sort of pop up blocker?

So do I, annoyingly. Probably an option to stop it in this instance but I can't be arsed.

Never had a pop on here besides that, sounds like other problems for the original poster and as Wibble says, IE does have a pop-up blocker.

You can either enable those popup or like what I do and tuck that away in a tiny little icon in the bottom corner.

Same here... when I read the first post in the thread I started to think 'pop ups... what pop ups?'
