If you had the choice, would you let Veron go to gain Nesta.

P.S. Please don't say, "it's not my choice so I'm not going to comment."

Also, I would let him go for Nesta.
 
I'd rather have van Bommel who has expressed a desire to come to the premiership

Swap deal:- Never going to happen.

What about keeping Veron and buying Nesta.
 
I don't see why a great Italian defender would come to United. They have a great championship, they're well paid, and their championship suits to the defenders. In England it would be harder for them.
 
Nesta will face language barrier in England. You need to have a strong communication link with your team mate, especially in the role as a defender.

Veron still only on 26 and he is world class

1 Does Nesta want to leave Seria A, how many of the current italian team play outside of Italy?

2 We need a CB that will settle and lead the defence, which brings up the previous point of communication\integration problem you have with foreign players.

Signing Veron was a sensible move from one angle; looking for a quality creative midfielder. I'm still waiting to see him 'come alive', he's shown flashes, but for the most part has looked timid.
