15,000 tickets....

corporate clowns getting the briefs....

muppets going for their first game....

Time-served reds not getting a look in....

Should we qualify, this is going to be the biggest ticketing farce in the history of the world, think of barca and multiply it by 1000. EVERYONE is going to be there due to the small travel costs involved, it will be chaos.

So then, how much are you willing to pay?

I hope that it's against Barça as I know many season ticket holders of Barça who could for a nominal fee get me a ticket. I think it will be Madrid though!

Like I said, but I cant remember exactly how it works, is it 40% to each club, and 10% for each football association! If it's Barça we face, I think that I could get them cheaper, as I know many a lad who could probably get a ticket for me!

Well hopefully they'll be 5 other people with me and wwe'll be prepared to give the tout say face value and a few slaps to get the tickets off em touch wood

Face value but i'll be queing up outside OT for a couple of days and nights.

Unless the tossers decide to have a ballot.

Backhanders probably - I don't think they give a shit about big capacity anymore - all the money comes in from TV - they don't really care about the fans enough I don't think. Far dos Milan and Barca have had it in recent years, but I wonder if this is not the start of a trend towards using smaller stadia - having said that there isn't usually any trouble at the major finals, although I think there is a 100% chance that there will be at this years Uefa - Feyenoord v Dortmund in........Rotterdam!

If I was a billionare, I'd buy 500 tickets and give them away to all the Caf regulars except for Stan! ;)

I'm not disagreeing with ya but why would UEFA want to use smaller stadia? Do they not get a cut of the gate reciepts? I would have thought they did. Plus, if it is a geographical concern and they thought Glasgow deserved it, why not Celtic Park or Ibrox?

Boggles my mind sometimes the things UEFA do ...

Capacity means less and less these days imo...

Old Trafford has the biggest capacity in the Premiership, but I would be hard pused to say it has the best atmosphere (not to say the geniune fans out there don't sing their hearts out.)

Good luck to you all on getting to the final (i wanna see MUFC vs Barca/Madrid - what a game it'll be) and on getting tickets but dont you think you may be being just a TAD premature?

IMO you'll beat BL but dont go taking them for granted...you should beat them but theyre certainly capable of pulling off a shock against you.

Ibrox has the same capacity as Hampden...around 50,000. Both are too small for a CL final IMO

There are not many football stadiums in Europe that are big enough! Plenty with running tracks, etc. but we really don't want them do we! What should happen, should we rotate the competition around the big stadia and leave out the smaller ones?

Look at England as an example - exactly how many stadiums do we think are big enough? Old Trafford and errrrrm......

Uefa considers stadiums with running tracks...

personally... i reckon it should've been played at Caltic Park(60,000) instead of Hampden....

BTW the Delle Alpi's going to be renovated..apparently they are going to dig up the track and construct another tier.. it'll become a 4 tier stadium

But too be fair part of old trafford (tier3) has really shite situated seats and i wouldent want to sit in tier 3 for a final if i was paid too...

thats the harsh reality...

Well, next year there are going to plenty of people sitting in those seats for the European Cup final!

At Barcelona in 1999, touts(scalpers) were charging 300/400 quid for tickets. I got tickets off Germans for 120 quid (good ones!), but just outside the stadium they were selling for only 80 quid.
I'd imagine it would be worse in Glasgow due to the smaller stadium.

My mate's mum's company puts on the pre match show, half time and trophy presentation, basically the company are the production managers for UEFA, the England Rugby Team, and a host of other companies.

Believe me i'm already kissing major 50yr old arse for a feckin ticket, hope my mate doesn't mind me shafting his dear old ma for a ticket.... oh shit he's a gooner, oh well i miss the good times we had, i'm on my way to feckin glasgow!
