I recently discovered a Finnish rock group called Poets of the Fall. Despite their emo name, it's really decent rock, quite soft and melodic. It's amazing!
Just thought I'd let my fellow cafters in on the secret of how good they are. It's a crime they've not released outside of Finland (and Australia for some reason
), but you can still get their albums from www.amazon.co.uk, and so probably other countries have their Amazons stocking it.
I know I sound like an advertisement, but they really are very, very good. The lead singer has a fantastic voice and it's a real shame they don't have a wider audience. I've linked some below. Carnival of Rust is probably one of the best songs you'll hear in a while:
