We always here how we get linked to hundreds of players every transfer window, thought it might be good to keep track of how many players we are linked to in this coming window.

I'll keep updating the OP when we get linked with someone new. Currently linked with the following (please add suggestions of players names):

Renato
Griezmann
Lukaku
Ibra
James Rodriguez
Saul Niguez
Koulibaly
Stones
Rafa Silva
Kane
Gaitan
Ronaldo
Bale
Kroos
Aubameyang
Andre Gomes
Felipe Anderson
Mahrez
Cavani
Higuain
Morata

Andre Gomes. Maybe Felipe Anderson too, at least a few weeks/months ago. Mahrez? Miranda

Reading many of those names and looking at, or contrasting with our current situation, status and manager, it's rather surreal and unrealistic.

Greizmann, Bale, Kroos, Hummels? It's like the media are taking the Michael....

It's like throwing a piece of mud on the wall and hoping something sticks. Lazy made up stories on 90% of these rumours probably.
The only transfer I'm concerned about is the manager. If the wheels are in motion with Jose then I expect the transfers will come in soon after the appointment is made. I just hope we can conclude any business before the Euro's.

List updated, took off Hummels and Sneijder as we haven't been linked recently.

I've forgotten the user name but someone here wrote last July or August that mates of him write such 'transfer links' for websites on demand. I have no doubt that this is the origin of >90% of what appears in the media.

I think we've been linked with goalkeeper Donnarumma.

Just saw on TV that Jim Lawlor has been following 20 year old mexican winger Hirving Lozano closely.
Just recently debuted for the national team, scored on Canada.

Griezmann links?? Where? Not recently iirc

Griezzy is the player who I think could take us back to the Elite.

Looks to be the case. Literally have no knowledge of him, bar football manager knowledge. Can anyone actually comment on his real life performances?

Add Lewis Cook to that list. Big fan!

He's a winger, he scores goals. He's scored 10 this season. Also they've been following 2 other players from that team, 21 year old midfielder Pizarro and 20 year old midfielder Gutierrez. They're the current mexican "jewels", as it's uncommon for mexicans to be starting in their league at that age.
Here's another note on it.

Edit: Oh yeah, he's set to go to the Copa America and the Olympics, so that might be why Manchester United is following him so closely, before he lights up an international tournament and his price spikes.
Edit2: Like Chicharito before the World Cup 2010.

Di Marzio linked us to the Torino CB Maksimovic a couple of weeks back.
