Monday evening sees Reading U23s welcome Manchester United to Adams Park from a 7pm kick-off in Premier League 2.

Tickets for Monday’s fixture will be priced at £3 for for Adults with Concessions at just £1. Parking at Adams Park will cost £2 per car.

The Royals will be looking bounce back from last Wednesday’s narrow defeat at the hands of Bilbao in the Premier League International Cup, that saw them take a two goal lead before the visitors managed to turn the result on its head.

Manchester United, who currently sit eighth in the Premier League 2 table, are only three points ahead of the Royals in the league, so Martin Kuhl’s men could have the chance to leapfrog the Red Devils with in the evening fixture and a big enough swing in goal difference.

And it wouldn't be out of keeping for our boys to get a good result against a big-name opponent - Arsenal, Man City and Chelsea have all been defeated by our boys this season.

Guess it can be confirmed now that something's up with Mitchell since Gribbin has come in and leapfrogged him...

Glad to see Gribbin from start after his hat trick for the U18 against Liverpool. Hope he does well!

Good bit of play from Gribbin there then got smashed and is hobbling around. Hopefully it's nothing serious...

If only Goss was 18. Given Butt's comments a while back where he said if you're not in the first team at 20 you won't make it I'd doubt he'll get an opportunity now, which is a shame, talented player.

Kodi boxed fecked up for 5 minutes or so and missed 3 goals?!

Oh my! Reading falling apart. Two goals in a minute to go ahead

Microphones picking up Roshaun there  gave Mendes more than a piece of mind...

And Gribbin chased down a defender to win that penalty  he really has been hungry since he's come back from injury, great to see

The referee/officials really are a bit of a joke tonight, guess it's to be expected if these guys can't even make it to the Premier League where the refs are... marginally better.

2-2 now. Doesn't really seem like our lads have come out for the second half yet.

Yet another draw, what a last ten minutes though. Smith nearly nicked it against his old side right at the end but that would've been harsh on United although the defence wasn't at its best tonight. One or two passengers tonight which didn't help

How well did Willock and Tuanzebe play?

Willock was one of the passengers tonight in my opinion, didn't get into it. Axel wasn't bad but not great by his own standards, one or two mistakes that didn't end up costing us; he made a crucial challenge near the end followed by a really good run from the back, rest of the defence not deciding to perform didn't help him either.

Gribbin looking as classy at this level too. Squad player in the next couple of years I hope.

Buffonge was good for the U18's V Derby too.
