A lot of Italian players seem to be traveling from club to club, it's very unlike what we see in England where players seldom move between the top teams.

Milan are getting rid of their older players it seems.

WOW! Didn't expect that one.... He hasn't been in stellar form recently, but Pirlo is certainly better than what they have... Wonder if that's Del Piero gone? It's been rumored for awhile and event though they play different positions, Juve are looking to get younger so you can't imagine two old players on fat pay checks.

Mexes and Taiwo on frees is excellent business. I think Milan finally realise it's time to move on from that magnificent team they had. The likes of Nesta, Gattuso, Pirlo, Ambrosini, Seedorf and Inzaghi were magnificent over the years, but they are all on the wrong side of 30 and are being phased out.

I don't think that Mexes with a wage of € 4.5 million/year is an excellent deal.

A player I would of taken here two years ago, even with his age. Pure class and talent even in his older years. He always talked about trying his luck in the EPL - wonder if a team will take a gamble on him

I'd reckon higher mid tier team could do well with him. Stoke could use his experience in Europe next season if they hope to not get thrashed from the get-go.

Otherwise MLS teams will be salivating at the thought...

I'm not sure Juve are going the right way about revitalizing their squad. It's a bit like Vieira signing for City.
 
Good move for Pirlo. Juve could do with someone like him at times, they need someone who will hold possession well in the centre..Pirlo could well be that man. His mind and reading of the game is still one of the best out there from a pure footballing view. Plus, Pirlo in a Bianconeri shirt will be :drool:
 
I don't know whether to be happy or sad. He is still a class player, but his legs are shot. He wasn't playing well recently but he's capable of great things. Guess my decision will be based on his replacement
