Free house, mildly drunk and sound system turned up very loud while listening to them on shuffle.

What a band. I can't wait for the next wave of rock music that takes things forward again. It's about time some inspirational young soul with a vein full of something that makes them feel good comes up with a new sound. At the age of 24 it's safe to say that I have never witnessed a revolution in rock music and that makes me sad.

I did that with The Doors a few weeks ago.

Ahh The Doors, next up, ta for that.

I got told I look like a young Jim Morrison the other day with my long curley hair and contraception tight jeans.

Jammy bastard.

Nah, she's a lovely girl but a tad over weight, suffers from psoriasis and her favourite bands are Talking Heads and Tears for Fears. But yeah aside from that I could talk to her all night :)

Holy crap ... I was listening to Division Bell and DSOTM on the way to work today and had every intention of starting a Floyd thread today. Proper weird like.

There was an article in the Guardian the other day about the death of Rock, and how only 3% of the billboard tops were rock songs and that too was stretching it. Ahh Floyd - when music was good.

I listened to Pink Floyd on full blast on the way home tonight.

I might watch Live in Pompeii or Pulse on DVD later.

The greatest band of all times.... end of.

I'm listening to Meddle btw, its awesome. My favourite song is Comfortably Numb (Pulse version).
