Who can find the biggest tearjerker of a song, I'm going for this just cos I love it so much at the moment.

Not a tear-jerker, but I've known for fecking ages I want "Free Bird" by Lynyrd Skynyrd played at my funeral.

Johnny Cash - Hurt

someone else can find the video, I can't be bothered.

I'd rather let the people who love me choose what music is played. The occasion is for them not me.

I'm not sure on the precise song, but I want something cheerful. If people are moody fecks at my funeral I'll haunt them.

If i wanted to have a funny funeral: Going Underground - The Jam

But I'd actually like Strawberry Fields Forever or Who wants to live forever by queen

Gooooood call!

This one is probably one of the saddest songs I know. It got my friend through many hard times when her grandmother died.

Great song, very moving. Good live performance also.

This has to be there if you are looking for tear jerkers.

Never really thought of it to be honest, but this song would probably do.

Love that song, Hope Sandoval's voice is gorgeous, but I wouldn't want to have anything like this played when I pop my clogs. I want Ennio Morricone's "Bad Orchestra" from Once Upon A Time In The West, sadly I can't find a clip of it.

This?

The music for the final duel is probably my favourite Morricone piece.

That's the one. Everyone in attendance will be given a slide whistle to play along with the music. I want it played as the pallbearers carry me teetering from side to side, stumbling backwards and forwards as I make my way to the furnace.

My mate died a couple of years ago and he had these playing

Think i want to go the traditional route.

Raglan Road by Luke Kelly. This shocks everyone when i tell them because of my protestant background and upbringing. But Luke Kelly in his prime was a real master of words.

This one would be beautiful to hear at a funeral. Not mine though. I'm gonna live forever. :D
