Manchester is looking for a back up goalkeeper and according to laola1.at Philipp Köhn could be the one to replace Henderson, who wants to leave. Five years ago Ralf Ragnick brought the 18 year old Swiss to RB Leipzig, now they could reunite at Manchester.

We already have Heaton as back up, and Johnstone will be joining.

Why do we have twice as many goalkeepers as we have strikers?

We desperately need a young modern goalkeeper with good passing/ball playing to blood in whilst we still have de gea. If he's good with his feet and a prospect I'm all for it, hendo should be off this summer.

Im surprised that among the 100 backup keepers we keep adding none is a ball playing one.

Mate you and me both, we've had some promising ones through the youth teams but they've always fizzled out once they hit the under 23s. I think we probably put our eggs in the henderson basket, which is fair enough but yeah we've never seemed to even look at a ball playing gk.

Wouldn't hate it if we went for a sweeper keeper but feel like this will fester for another year or two before we actively look to replace de Gea.

If we were proactive we'd be looking at someone of this profile to grow into the role.
