Phil Neville

Got booked last night for tackling and tripping Gardner with his head. Anyone else see?

Is there no end to his talent?

I still cant stop laughing.

I must have missed that. Explain it in full again will you, cos I'm still laughing at the thought of it <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

Phil was getting turned inside out by a third rate winger. He fell over, and perfected the perfect trip with his big thick head on the winger who was clear.

The ref booked him. Everybody around us was shouting at the ref. We were laughing- still am.

Frank Stapleton used to do everything with his head as well even tackles.

This Superman tackle was hilarious... what was he thinking????

Now I don't see any youth games but his presence in the first team makes me wonder if there really isn't a RB waiting in the ranks for his chance... Even at 17 there must someone who has more to offer than Phil Neville.....

Hilarious. Sorry to say but Philip Neville is the ultimate donkey. Some of his "tackles" have been so ludicrous he makes Mickey look like he oozes finesse.

Has G.nev got a chance for leeds?

he was in the squad last night but wasnt on the bench

Can this Gary Neville tackle with his head.

Paul Tierney should be given his debut soon (now!).

Phil can go play netball with his sister.

There's no stills of this amazing tackle anywhere are there? It has to be caption of the week.

It's the least he could do, no? ;)

I was in the East stand and from what I saw Phil slipped on the surface (as did Micky and Ole) especially when wide, fell forward and Bolton player tripped over him and Phil got booked.
The fans went mad at the ref,cue singing of referees a wanker.
Very funny to watch but worthy of ridiculing Phil Neville when the surface was obviously the cause?
