Saw him play a few times for Ajax when I was betting on them and I was quite impressed. But it turned out that others were not, and I was surprised at how his career went subsequently. He was something of a rotation option at the time at Ajax and I’d have thought he’d be a regular. Surprised by the link, but then again Ten Hag only knows about 13 players so not really!
