From TeamTalk:
United face competition from a number of Premiership clubs for the services of Norway Under-21 international Morten Gamst Pedersen.
United sent a scout to Bergen last night to run the rule over the 20-year-old in a match between the Norwegian and Swedish Under-21 sides.
However, Leeds, Middlesbrough and Everton also sent representatives to take a look at the left-sided midfielder who is valued in the £1million-plus bracket.
Pedersen spent a week on trial at Middlesbrough last season - after which both parties declared that they were keeping their options open.
However, since then, Pedersen has been earning rave reviews at his club side Tromso, and Sir Alex Ferguson could be tempted to strengthen his left-side options this summer with a move for the highly-regarded winger.

Any of you Norwegians seen this kid? Is he better than Djordic/Chadwick?

According to his club's website, he had an average game last night (hit the post once though). He scored twice in the first game of the season last weekend.

I've hardly seen him play, as he made it into Tromsoe's first team the 2nd half of last season. Tromsoe were shite last year, and got relegated. He's had a lot of praise coming his way, and with his team in the 1st division he will be off somewhere soon.

And United are his favourite team as well... :D

That's the way it's done here in Norway. Kits are riddled with countless logos all over the place. It seems that's the only way sponsors want to expose themselves...

No 'kin sense of style...

u should be happy that you have so much supports from all around the industries for your home league ... here where I am , the authority have to bag around and use their "relationship" to help secure every single team a sponsor so that the league could kick off well-balanced financially .. .
See ... you are fortunate :D ...

why is it all good, young players are always linked with the big clubs ( United, Milan etc. ) but also with Boro ?

Never seen him play myself, but my kid brother has played against him a few times and he says there's no chance he is Man United quality - and never will be
