Anyone watching this.

class game last night between the 2 dutch lads.

Taylor not looking convincing in the 1st round, could have easily ave gone out. I reckon neither Phil The Power or Barney will win this year.

I reckon James Wade might do it
 
I will be watching Eric, I've been out on Xmas do's every afternoon and night its been on so far though so not caught anything yet. No great loss, is usually semi mismatches at this stage. Although how did Taylor get Van Gerwen so early? I used to watch the BDO rather than PDC, and he was shit hot. Doesn't sound like he's found his feet yet, though I gather he had a dart for the match

when they came over to the pdc he had to start at the bottom of the rankings, so after a year he still wasnt high enough ( top 32) to be seeded so he was in the unseeded players and drew taylor. the same happened to Klassen. he drew Van der Voort. VDV won 3-2, came down to the last leg in the last set and they had to throw for the bull. clas game. great standard of darts.

2nd round starts tonight
 
Taylor through to the 4th by the skin of his teeth again. I don't know how many sets he has lost in total previously in the PDC champs, but he's probably already doubled that this year...
Great match though.

Painter has thrashed Van Barneveld. Amazing stuff by Painter. 10 dart finish at the end as well.

i think its wide open now, anyone can win it from here
i think Mardle can beat Taylor today.
 
Taylor or Part will win it. Other then the Canadian and a Dutchman, nobody has ever beaten Taylor in the PDC WC

Lewis can beat anyone when if he hits form
painter on great form ( would like to see him win after fecking it away that time)
part in best form since he won it last time
mardle in his best form in about 3 years

the thing with taylor is that he always had an upper hand on people as they were intimidated by him but i think those days are gone now. maybe its because of the fact the more pro players now and the standards gone up but he cant intimidate players of the sage anymore

i saw an interview with him the other day and he said he used to storm through the early rounds every year, but now he cant as the standard is so high now.

Kirk Shepard Vs John Part in the final

would have to think John Part to win but Shepards on a great run so i wouldnt rule him out. he never even played on tv before this week. He has been very lucky but fair play to him.
 
Fair dues to Shepard... but Part looks the balls.... what happened to Taylor and Barney.... didnt look like the greats they are..
 
Part won it easy in the end, deserved it really as he for is performances all tournament.

thought the crowd we very poor though, seemed to kept trying to put part off
 
Part was the best player of the tournament so he deserved to win it.

Shame that the final wasn't as good as some of the classic matches that we had seen earlier in the tournament.
