I slapped my girlfriend, and now I feel kinda bad.
Right:

I've registered, had it confirmed, added my account details...

now I need to know a little about how it works - do you use your paypal account like a credit card on the net (which i don't get as couldn't you just use that directly?), or do you have to add credit to your PayPal account, and how do you do that?

I said a while ago that I'd support the caf, but i need more info

I haven't answered because I don't actually know

Might be better off asking this in the general forum

You pay with Paypal just like a credit card, you select Paypal as your payment method, you then have to login to your Paypal account to verify its you and then the transaction is credited to your account and Paypal get the cash from your bank account or card, depending on what you have registered with them

NEVER use paypal to sell anything.

I sold a laptop on ebay a few months ago, got paid through paypal. A month after she bought it she claimed it was faulty (don't know why it took her a month to decide it was faulty but paypal don't worry about logical things like that).

Paypal found in her favour and gave her the money back, she sent back the laptop, minus the window XP disk and drivers disks. Paypal say I have to get a police incident report before they'll do anything about it but the police say they won't do that as it isn't a crime, its a civil matter.

Oh, and there was feck all wrong with the laptop too.
