Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko says that he is unhappy with life on the bench and will look to leave the club in the summer.

Pavlyuchenko, 29, has hit out at manager Harry Redknapp and states his desire to leave: ”The way I see it, the manager just doesn’t trust me and it doesn’t matter if I play well, score goals or try my best in training – nothing will make him change his mind about me.”

“So I’m not going to extend my contract, which expires at the end of next season, and will try to leave the club over the summer transfer window.

“Even when I do play well or score a goal, I don’t get a chance in the next game. Quite frankly, I’m fed up with sitting on the bench and waiting for my chances.

“The last two matches I was totally healthy but still didn’t get even the smallest chance, even during our team’s 4-0 drubbing by Fulham.”

The Russian signed for Spurs in 2008 for £14m.

This is not something. He has been wanting out for almost two season now. He will definitely be gone in the summer.

No one wants him on his wages I'm guessing. He's one of their highest earners.

Bad man management from Harry considering he's better than Crouch and better than Defoe in the 451 system.

I think he'd be decent to have, but not with that attitude.

Just for talks sake, if he were with us, then he'd be on the bench and he still wouldn't like it.

I would even have Owen instead of this lad.

Ridiculous that he doesn't get into Spurs' side ahead of Crouch. He's a very good finisher.

Harry treated him like absolute dogshit until last winter came around and he actually played him. Then voila he started scoring almost immediately. Don't understand why he doesn't get time on the pitch...

I would have no qualms at all if he was to end up at United. I know we do not need him and strikers is not what we are lacking but I think he is an excellent player.

The only problem with having him at United is that he would not be in any better situation as I would not start him over Hernandez web Berba is playing.

As for RDC, having Owen over Pavlyuchenko is mental

Think he's quality in their 4-5-1 system.... Harry just prefers British talent that's all...
