Look, the women's a top athlete and all that and her luck at this Olympics in respect of being fit is extremely bad but for some reason and I feel terribly guilty about this - she is as annoying as feck :annoyed:

Dont know what it is about her (maybe that dodgy head bobbing movement!) but for some selfish reason on my part I cannot drudge up any sympathy for the girl

Is it just me or am I a bad person :(

I dislike her as she took a spot away from an ineperienced younger athlete who could have used this event for vital experience.

Paula knew she wasn't 100% or even 60%, but she continued to enter herself in the event, and argue with the selectors that she was a worthwhile entrant.

I like her, but that was extremely selfish.

I don't blame her for going all out to be in Beijing and compete, it is the Oyympics and to Paula that one acheivement that eludes her.

If there is fault, perhaps it is procedural and the criteria that is set.

What is the most annoying thing, and i do expect it in some form later today, is goddamn Adrian Duhram and Ian Wright belittling Radcliffe as an athelete, they'll probably call her an bottler or trash her past acheivments or something. Wouldn't be surprised if they put down a medal haulf from the weekend too. Nutters.

She should never have gone, their was no way on earth she was going to recover to full fitness in time for this event.

It was always going to end in tears.
