It has taken the club and the player over a year to get over the mistake which was made last year.

He was my man of the match yesterdat and for anyone who remembers the great Scholsey in 98,99 it was the first time in over 16 months that I say the confidence back with the lad and the maturity which catapulted the lad to greatness.

Keep it up Paul.

Yep - he is one of the best midfielders in the world when he's on form and being on form comes partly from consistently playing in your best position.

this seasons the best i've ever seen him play... hope he continues to play with the same confidence.. he's matured into an excellent midfielder...

Thank you Dans.

Himself, Giggs and Fortune played out of their skin yesterday. If Paul Scholes was married to a spice girl and had the looks we'd never.....

That's great Baz.

Can't agree with you re Giggs though. He was average again. Even a spice girl can't save him it seems.

he's a top lad n'all..

saw him at the Trafford centre, my mate served him at Selfridges, he came across as a very down to earth fella...

He made the second for Forlan, was always tracking back and defending. I thought he was magnificant and is forever the consumate professional.

Well, that may become another interesting discussion. Somehow I have a feeling that if beckham is as low profile and down to earth as Scholes he will become a better player than he is now.
