Just found out today my dad's worked with him on a few occasions (he's a sort of freelance french horn player who gets hired by amateur productions).

Apparently the orchestra used to take the piss out of him he was so bad.

The moral being Britain may have talent but it doesn't bother going on Britain's Got Talent.

Or something.

I agree 100%, i didn't go on it. Looked a bit high brow for my talent.

I'm sure your dad wasn't that bad GG. :)

I like Paul Potts. Probably a millionaire by now - best of luck to him. Seems like a genuinely nice bloke and performed well enough at the Royal Variety, and by all accounts, holds a show together.
 
Paul Potts is a dick. Go on his wiki and youll see he was in Italy before BGT taking vocal lessons, and even singed infront of Pavorotti. This doesnt get mentioned on the show, hes apparently been a Salesmen all his life, making his story much more exciting....
 
It was common knowledge before the final last year that Paul Potts had had vocal training.
 
he worked in carphone warehouse at the shopping centre at the town i live in, my mother got my old phone off him lol

Suleman is apparently a world famous dancer. Just look at his youtube page.

Signature is a proper dance troop, the Singh included. Suleman has danced with a lot of Bollywood stars and even Michael Jackson.
