Thoughts?

I think we need to have more realistic transfer targets, plus we need to fill the void that Vidic will leave us at the end of the season. I think he'd be perfect.

Doesn't he count as home grown? Would be handy for the Champions League.

Can play right-back as well to cover for Rafael. Seems like a very shrewd bit of business if we can get it done. This late in his career though will he be willing to wait for us to get back into Champions League football?

Plus he already has a cracking chant!

(My friend is an ardent fan of Hull City, my sincere apologies for the making of this thread.)

He got a long-term injury in the last game against Southampton - he really would be ideal.

Oh ye boys can laugh. Had Jan Koller in his back pocket. How quickly they forget.

 The skills at 1:25. Gets him with the slip and slide. Takes no shit either at 8:10 telling the ref to leave it out.

Everyone complains about how we lost Paul Pogba but it is the other FA youth cup winner called Paul that we really missed the trick on. No, not Scholes the true Paul Ginger. Paul McShane. He set the precedent for our top players to leave us. I think I read in Fergie's book about how not a day goes by where he doesn't regret the decision not to give McShane more opportunities and convince him to stay with us.

Genuinely the worst professional football I have ever seen. Seriously.

It make me angry that he gets paid to play football and I don't.

His debut, wasn't it? Great performance. He gets awful stick here in Ireland, but he's honestly not as poor as some let on. He's an United academy graduate, so he has something about him.
