i think we should sign patrick kluivert. hes a great finisher with awesome skils. plus van nistelrooy is best mates with him......

but when they both starts for Holland they don't score well ... I could recall that game which they lost to Ireland in the WC qualifying ... and then the recent one - a Euro'04 qualifier. Holland come to life only when others like Makaay or Hassailbank drops in etc ... Not a good omen there ...
I still hate Kluivert for turning his back on us some years back ... I still remember that !!

yeh ur probably write maybe we should try get ronaldinho that would shutup my friend who goes for leeds cos he loves him

Which had nothing to do with Van Nistelrooy and Kluivert's form - they played well in that game.

While I agree about Makaay, when Hasselbaink came on against Ireland in Dublin, it was the beginning of the end - the Dutch didn't threaten from him.

Let's sign Makaay then... ;)

Love him for turning his back. If he had arrived Yorke and cole would never have struck up that partnership.

That happens 'cos some "clever" Van Gaal put Hassailbank right at the wing ... Hassailbank isn't any winger for god sake .. you put him in 'cos you want him to poach the goal ... when both the striker on the field has failed to do it all matches - it's just right to swap it ...

Nevermind though ... that's not the argument point here ;) I just recall it a bit and put it down ... I don't think Holland deserve to win anything from that match ..

That's the one U should sign!
Kluivert is the best striker at the moment, in Oranje(we call our National team like that...), he's always plays fantastic!
He would make a perfect couple with Ruud "the diver" van Nistelrooy. He's also much better than Ruud.
He doesn't lose one ball, he creates chances for others and himself and also finishes chances. Ruud only finishes chances, created by others and certainly when he doesn't score, as right now, he is useless.....
v.Nistelrooy can't create anything on his own, always needs another player to give a an easy chance and than he scores.....
v.Nistelrooy's big quality is to be at the right spot, which he was a lot of times last year, that is a quality that not many players possess, only when his form is not good, he is not on the right spot everytime to make a goal and then he's useless. That's also the reason that he's going to dive everytime to get a penalty, and than finish the penalty himself so he scores his goal after all, but the refs aren't that stupid, after 2 times the know is diving everytime and Ruud should be lucky that still hasn't got a yellow card for it.

To be short: Ruud is not as good as U think....

Kluivert is million times better and would be the best striker U can get at the moment...

PS: He also said he'd like to play in England sometime, before finishing his carreer back home in Amsterdam.....

There are better options(cheaper and better finishers) out there than Klutzvert.

I don't think that Kluivert would leave Barcelona at the moment anyway and we need someone in the mould of Fillipo Inzaghi, with pace and tiuch and one who scores goals on his own our set up by other players.... and we need him not to be champions league cup-tied and under £10 million by the end of December please.
Anyway, i think that the Dutch guy's critism of Van Nistelrooy is unduly harsh; Ruud has almost anything one could want from a striker exept that he doesnt get enough headers and doesnt take the ball passed people. You cant argue with over 30 goals a season really.

You're talking about me, I think. Well, I maybe was a little to hard on Ruud, but really what does he do good this year till now??? Almost nothing.
Last year everything went right and he played great. He didn't lose much balls, he worked very hard, he even came to midfield many times to get the ball and scored many goals. But this year, he first of all doesn't score, he doesn't go to midfield anymore to get the balls and I've got the feeling that he doesn't work very hard, not as much as last year.
So, when you have a v.Nistelrooy that is in a good shape, you've got a great player, but when he's strugglin' with his form he's kinda useless, at least for a side as Man. U that plays in the premier league....

Yet they managed to miss about 10 open goals between them. Together, their performance against Ireland was one of the worst finishing displays I've ever seen.

Kluivert=Posing Rapist

Living in Amsterdam you hear so many stories from the locals about this guy, he's a bad and rotten apple and we aint no barrel scrapers.
let <img src="graemlins/houllier.gif" border="0" alt="[Houllier]" /> buy him instead, they have a history of womanising monsters at Unfield
