Apparently according to the daily star, we could be poised to make a shock  £10m bid, to bring him to OT. As he is unhappy with the appointment of Lois Van Gaal and would like to play in england.

I don't particularly like the guy and indeed the story is probably bollox, but for a player of his age and quality (although inconsistent @ times) that would be an amazing deal, but like I say probably just more fuel to the transfer fire.

theres no doubting the guys quality and i reckon he'd bang in loads of goals. Dont care what hes like of the pitch as long as he does the business on it. would be cheap at 10M.
i dont believe the story though.

story is bull - at 10m even with van gaal in barca'd be nuts. he does score ,and has played "big match" football at a few clubs. w/ruud up top it'd be a good fit. he's a risk off the pitch no doubt , don't know if you can write that stuff off to youth? price is too low.

He doesnt strike me as a Utd player, doesnt have the charachter to really push himself.Hes very talented but seems to get disinterested when things are not going so well. Not too sure he would gel with Rudd, they are similar types of player but Rudd is more gutsy. We need someone who can play around Rudd, feeding giving etc,Duff ..hopefully

Kluivert is one of the top 10 forwards in the world. Although off the pitch, he's caused some serious damage, ran over some sorry bum I think.
Anyway, we don't know much of his attitude and I wouldn't believe much of what the papers quoted him saying. How many times has Veron been misquoted? Anyway, his ability is no less than RVN, perhaps he's a better all round forward than Ruud is "at the moment". I mean at the time RVN was still playing in the lower league, Kluivert was already lifting the EC cup. He's only getting better and better, and if not mistaken he's even younger than RVN. Anyway, Barca will never let him leave for less than 20m, so forget it!!!

There's Video evidence of Kluivert saying 'the only club in England for me is Arsenal'. This isn't an invention.

As for him 'running overs some sorry bum', the poor sorry bum wasn't exactly a bum and he (I think she) is dead. Not to mention a different rape case.

Kluivert to United? <img src="graemlins/nono.gif" border="0" alt="[No No]" />

feck him, his ego is way over the top. He had the chance to play for the biggest club in the world and turned it down. We dont need his sort.

Kluivert would be an excellent choice if he didn't have that Anelka-like primadonna attitude.

Controlling fiery tempers is one thing. Turning primadonnas into useful members of the squad is another. You can change the way a person controls his temper but not basic behaviour...
