Nik and Imran are here to talk about a frustrating 2 points dropped at Crystal Palace in Part One.

In Part Two they discuss the regeneration of Old Trafford.

Then in Part Three Nik is joined by special guest Michael Statham from the Football Oranje podcast - who gives us a more in depth look at our EL opposition FC Twente, and then runs through the (many) Dutch connections currently at United.

We just need EtH to lay the foundation at least, I think we'll get that.

I can see a world where a bored Man City hires him to replace Pep if he's available, Guardiola rates the guy.

Erik Ten Hag is on the shortlist to replace Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, while their local rivals Manchester United are eyeing the Dutchman to take over from interim manager Ralf Rangnick, according to reports.

Ten Hag is viewed as one of the most progressive coaches in Europe after moulding a young Ajax side into Champions League competitors in 2019 and rebuilding the squad after his best players were snatched up by Europe's elite.

Just weeks before Ten Hag was confirmed as the next United boss in 2022, Guardiola was asked if the Dutchman could succeed him on the other side of the city.

“Are you asking me if Erik Ten Hag could be here? Definitely.

“A lot could be here and I think he could be one of the ones. For the way he approaches the game, definitely, definitely. I will tell (director of football) Txiki (Begiristain) now!”

I can't! Obviously those comments were all before he became our manager

After last season mess, we now have a solid base at least but Ten Hag needs to start delivering more goals if he is to survive the season

I can. The chance to humiliate United by winning with their former manager is enticing. EtH's EPL experience will enhance his appeal. City are better than United, and he's a chance to further prove that with a manager Pep rates, and has won things in England.

Thing is, for it to even be a possibility, Ten Hag would have to have failed with us and been sacked so will be far down the pecking order

Although hopefully City will be in League One soon so maybe it will be possible after all!

"Far down' is overstating things. Even here he's won things, and he won things before. Pep rates him and has worked with him it bears repeating.
