9 to win with a wicket in hand..

drives now to pick up 2!

7 more.. plenty of overs left

Last few games between the two have followed a similar pattern it seems. Indian lower order collapsing in each to set up a thrilling fnale.

Yup.

A little worrying for Indian cricket. All the matches are low-scoring. None of these guys seem to be coping with these conditions

Unmukt chand has a great future. That Pakistani fast bowler looked promising.

In the other semi.. NZ needed 18 off the last over and here's how it went.

49.6

49.4

49.2
Greaves to Sodhi, 1 run

49.1

Km, you watching this? Aparajith and Chand are cracking players. Chopra is very good too but got out already. I wanted to watch but I have some family function to attend to.

Yeah woke up a bit late but managed to catch some of Chand's batting. What a player he's gonna be. That sixes off the pace bowlers were blatantly taking the piss. All of them clean and wonderful strikes. Looks a bit of Virat Kohli in him.

Aparajith is that all rounder isn't he?
Great player.

I've just realized that Delhi can very well make the top 4 batsmen in ODI team very soon.

Yep. Aparajith's from Chennai. Had no idea till someone told me just a while back. Was wondering if there were any TN players in there.

These guys are very talented, the top 3. u-19 and they've played very well in Australia.

Some serious batting coming through.

Ian Chappell thinks Harmeet Singh is the second best spinner in the world, after Graeme Swann. He loves provoking people into giving a reaction, doesn't he?

Ian Chappell is a joke and his brother is a moron.

Cricinfo's team of the tournament has George Dockrell.

Was completely confused. He's played 2 world cups.. why put him in u-19 even if he is eligible? It's not about winning the thing..

I read that. So the kid isn't as good as he thinks?

No idea, not seen him bowl more than a few overs.

Saeed Ajmal of Pakistan is a wonderful spinner, though.. probably the best around right now. That statement won't go down well with the Pakistanis.

In general, there's a dearth of spin bowlers, but am having a hard time believing that a u-19 bowler would be better than the many fully seasoned(admittedly not very good) spin bowlers around. The likes of Vettori, Ojha, Ashwin, Panesar, Abdur Rehman, Tahir and a few others.

It has piqued my interest, though. Looking forward to see the guy bowl. Am not a very big fan of left-arm spinners, though.
