without any practise matches before the first official match which bob woolmer was pissed about..........serious contender for the world cup

three best teams in the world are

australia england and pakistan........i dont like south africa because of kallis=most boring cricketer EVER
 
not convinced...........though i beleive in the west indies the conditions may suit the indians perfect
 
We hammered Pakistan 4-1, should have been 5-0 actually. Before that we hammered Sri Lanka 6-1 (?). And 2-2 against very competitve South Africa.
ODI series England would prove it.

I watch them - they can be entertaining, but it's just a bit of fun. No one really cares who's best at them. They exist to make money to support the wider game.

We were under strength against SA if I remember correctly.

I've started to hate the ODI's nowadays.The matches between Pakis and SL are the most boring and tedious examples of cricket.Younis Khan is a terrible ODI player.

Bring on the 15 runs per over matches.:rolleyes:

feck some people here are clueless. We just battered Pakistan 4-1 in Pakistan, before that beat Sri Lanka 6-1. You're really clueless, South africa like us are on an amazing One day run. And we just drew 2-2 with them, missing a few players.

And in the recent past, we have the best record in big ODI tournaments out of all the teams in recent times barring Australia. As i stated in the other thread, we'v got to the world cup final, made two Champions trophy finals, sharing one of them with Lanka, which we would have won, also the Natwest series(my fav). And we'v also won the world cup unlike England. So please get you're facts straight before rambling on about anything.

Form wise India, South Africa and Australia seem to be the strongest. England are improving as a one day side, but they seem to bottle it in big tournaments. Pakistan are always a threat, good one day, terrible the next. All depends on months leading to the world cup.

hahaha im clueless??? go suck sachins dick u idiot, u dont know shit.....everyone knows pakistan are one of the best teams in the world, as for one days yes india are also one of the best but when i said best teams in the world, i mean overall in both forms of the game, who have the best teams, and india are just a standard team.........south africa are a good team, nothing more, they may be on some great form as of yet, but we'll see how long this form lasts........pakistan may be terrible one day and then great the next but overall the team is very strong.......please dont cry after reading thing post or make a gay "bloody retarded" response
 
by the way if im not mistaken, didnt pakistan win like 10 f the previous 11 games against india or something before the 4-1 loss againt india....so pakistan still pretty much beat india most of the time........

We have generally been just behind Australia in ODI's in the last few years, especially in big tournaments. Then came that horrible phase at the end of John Wrights term when we lost to Pakistan and everything was going wrong. But ever since Lanka came here, we've been brilliant in One dayers. Dont know how long it will continue.
