Probably as my fellow Americans will sue for just about anything. Get rich quick and attorneys are more than ready to take a big slice of the pie as well as fifteen minutes of fame.
According to my local ESPN Radio affiliate out of Macon, GA, this occurred in the 1988 World Series in this area. I'm having visions of Fight Club and film splicing.
