So who is going then? Anyone who's been before care to share their experiences?

Are you camping?

I've been before but never camped. I've heard some horror stories from people who have.

Err.....but I'm sure you'll be fine.

And why the feck are Stereophonics still allowed to play in public?

Theft of property. People having their tents set on fire by scumbags. Said scumbags starting a lot of fights and just being pains in arse in general.

Obviously this doesn't happen to everyone. Don't get me wrong, it's not a warzone or anything like that, but I've spoken to people who said they'd never go camping there again.

Sorry, I sound like the voice of doom. You'll probably have a great time without any hassle. Festivals are usually great because if you wander into something that sucks you can saunter over to something different straight away. Or happen upon a band you'd never heard of and they turn out to be cool.

Yea you get wankers every where. If anyone comes near my tent trying to set it on fire I will murder them. My mate is driving down so all our valuables will be kept in his car. Tent will just be used for sleeping in.

Did you enjoy it then last year?

I went two years' ago. To be honest there weren't that many bands that I'm into playing, but when you're with a bunch of mates and you have lots of alcohol then it's a laugh regardless.

Who are you going to see? Don't say Stereophonics.

There are plenty of wankers around all right, keep an eye open. Also, try and bring as much stuff, drink, toilet roll etc in advance, because everything you can buy there is a total rip off.

 To be honest there aren't many of the bands there that I'm really into I'm just mainly going because a mate really wants to go. The Black Keys I'll definitely be seeing, Muse, The Prodigy, Mumford and Sons and I can't get the rest of the stages up but there are probably a few more.

I'm going this year. Can't wait. It's my first time but I'm going with 8/0 other mates who have been before and they absolutely love it. They've been looking forward to this weekend since the end of last years! Camping out in blue camp. I think we will be alright handling the scumbags cos' there's so many of us going.

This time next week we will be sitting round the tent getting pissed, singing and talking shit. Can't wait!

I'll be in the blue camp as well with about 15 other mates we'll tackle them together!

Went last year with a day ticket but just stayed in my mates tent for the 3 nights which was pretty handy, great festival but camping can be a bit dodgy, I certainly wouldn't recommend bringing anything too valuable

Not sure if I'll be heading again myself this year not a huge fan of the line-up

:)

I can't believe 'Earth Wind and Fire' are not actually in the earth. How old are these people?

Who ya looking forward to seeing?

Mumford and sons
Stereophonics
The Coronas
John Mayer
Eminem
Black eyed peas
Rise Against
30 Seconds to mars
Joshua radin

Doubt I'll get to see them all due to clashing times, and being too drunk and lazy to get off my ass and travelling over to the stage

What about yourself?

There's probably more I wanna see but have forgot about. I've been looking through the Oxegen forum seems loads of people got robbed last year so just going to leave all my stuff in my mate's car and walk to the carpark each day we need something.

EDIT: No doubt his car will now be broken into and stolen

I think I'll get a day ticket for Friday. I've gone the last 3 years and camped but can't afford to do it again this year.

I went last year, can't afford this year.

It's not as bad as people made out, had no trouble at all last year around my tent.

Its nice to see a Coronas fan unitedbhoy ;)

Don't get me started on the Slice of Lifes Big-Red.

Yeasayer are brilliant live, well worth checking them out for anyone who's going

If I do go bands I'll be looking to see are:

Arcade Fire
Hot Chip
Republic of Loose
Villagers
Dirty Projectors
Yeasayer

Arcade Fire
'Phonics
Vampire Weekend
Black Keys
Delorentos
Villagers

Muse
Kasabian
Florence
Doves
Yeasayer
Funzo
Two Door Cinema Club
Steve Aoki

Eminem
Newton Faulkner
Joshua Radin
Mumford & Sons
General Fiasco
Planet Parade

Obviously not all possible but if I had a chance to see each of the above I may just enjoy myself.

Of course they bloody are.
