Just saw this on Twitter and thought surely that can't be right but turns out it's right. No wonder we are struggling so much when our first choice attackers keep going missing for such lengthy periods of time. I didn't expect much from Elanga but Bruno surprised me. Even for goals, he only scored once since February.

I've been on the side of letting Rashford leave in the wake of PSG's apparent interest but seeing as there's little chance of him actually leaving, these 3(excluding Elanga) need to massively step up quickly or ETH will soon find himself on the chopping block.

Still our biggest issue, we just don’t have the attacking weapons to scare teams. We really do need a massive rebuild in attack. The only two players worth building around are Rashford & Garnacho.

The rest just aren’t up to it. Antony, Sancho, Weghorst, Martial, Elanga, Pellistri. Just a massive collection of expensive wasters that offer virtually nothing. I can’t even imagine how bad their combined stats are for this season.

We need at least two quality attackers this summer.

Yeah, like you said only Garnacho and Rashford scare defenders when they run with the ball. We all know Weghorst isn't up to mark anyways and he's only playing because we have a sicknote as our starting striker.

I'm more disappointed in Antony, Sancho and Bruno. I really like Antony and was excited when we signed him but he plays like he has zero attacking threat. Always looks to cut inside on his left foot. Even when he finally manages to go past his fullback its the same thing. I hope he works on his right foot to atleast mix it up sometimes. If not I don't see how he can be a threat in these big games.

Sancho - the less said the better. Such a fairweather player. If he can't be trusted to atleast make a sub appearance in one of our biggest games of the season then there's zero point in him being with us anymore.

Bruno is really an enigma. He's way too chaotic but still our best chance creator. I have nothing against him but I don't believe we will close the gap on the top teams with him as a starter in our team. I'm leaning towards agreeing with the thread that we won't win the league with him. Just doesn't have any ability to hold possession which means he can only play in a counterattacking setup.

We need 3 attackers in my view. Weghorst isn't good enough and Martial is never available. We really should cut our losses with him and let him leave in the summer even on a free. 250k pw wages for a guy who couldn't finish 90min in over an year is absurd. That leaves us needing 2 strikers.

I know this might ruffle some feathers but I really want us to buy someone better than Bruno as #10 and have Bruno as a squad player. He's good as a impact player with him always looking to release the ball sooner but we can't go toe to toe against the top teams with him as a starter. We always resort back to counterattacking.

Having Bruno as a squad player is a terrible idea. He would stink the place out if he was left on the bench for any length of time. Play him or sell him, only two options that will work. I still think its worth playing him as his work rate is , generally, fabulous and he still creates lots of chances.

I made a thread about this last week that got promptly ignored. We have a scoring problem outside of Rashford. The rest of the team has to pick up the slack.

The statistics shown for each player include any goals they may have scored in the following competitions in the current season: Europa League, The FA Cup, Premier League, EFL Cup

With us having been very dependent on Rashford's unsustainable hot streak recently, it highlights now much our inevitable CF signing needs to be a substantial goal threat.

But it also relates directly to the rest of the team. Better build up, more control and more creativity will lead to more goals too.

Fully agree. Rashford did improve massively this season but others have to start contributing more. That header in the first half from Bruno was criminal. He needs to atleast get it on target. Antony as much as I like him, it appears that he has only 1 move in his locker. Cut inside on his left foot and curl it in.

We really need couple of strikers in the summer. It would be stupid to rely on Martial staying fit going into next season.

Yeah. I did think he would never accept being on the bench, but then we would never go toe to toe against the top teams controlling possession and nullify them. Even Arsenal have Odegaard who is much better at ball retention than Bruno which actually helps them to retain the ball for a sustained period of time. But, as you mentioned no one else would offer the same kind of workrate that Bruno does.

Robben killed many teams with this move....

Another made up meme statistic post, Sancho scored against Leeds in February, the Liverpool game is the only premier league game we've played in March so of course Fernandes has no assists. Elanga has barely played.

Rashford also scored 3 premier league goals in February

I've reported this post.

Has Elanga even played since February? Let's not forget he's just a kid, still breaking into the team, should hardly be considered a first teamer not performing.
