Why not extended the South Stand (or any other stand) to a bigger one, and make OT to 91,000 (or more) capacity - and in this way to enter more fans to the theatre of dreams..

Planning restrictions. The tram can't really handle 91000 fans descending on Old Trafford. Excepting those who drive or live nearby or take the bus of course.

I'm sure that most of the fans that came to OT on a match day cames NOT with the tram.
