Hideous? yes,

But can we respect the man for trying to be unpredictable and different? Maybe, it's hard to but after hearing this sad excuse of a song, I actually kind of gained a bit of respect for him.

BIG fan of his older stuff, but since the Carter II fame, he's gotten so bad it's tragic.

Just wondering what everyone round here thinks about "Weezy"

"Safe sex is great sex
better wear a latex
'cos you don't want that late text
that "I think I'm late" text"

Enough said - Man's a genius.

I like his stuff but a lot of his singing is "Hmm err she yeah hmm HAH! hehehe ahem hmm errr nurrr HAH!"

Some brilliant stuff, some crap stuff. But I dont like the "new" Hip Hop stuff as I liked the older tracks

Hip hop is really dead to me nowadays, I'm no longer excited by new albums coming up. People like T-Pain have absolutely killed rap just by featuring in a song. 50 Cent is absolute bollocks nowadays, Kanye is just WTF, and overall the state of hip hop is really dying. Thank god for Ragga/Dancehall

Not impressed, used to be good the best song he has released recently was Yes ft. Pharell reminds me of old Wayne.

On a side note if you like a decent standard of Hiphop listen to Slaughter House (Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Royce Da 5'9 & Crooked I) they came together and formed a supergroup im impressed with their stuff as I was already a fan of Buddens and Ortiz

All of their stuff is gold !

Royce imo is the best rapper alive

Quite a statement hey...

Most talented? There's not alot of people touchign Royce that's active that's for damn sure.

I'm a huge Jay-Z fan, but on his best day he's still not to par with what Royce has delivered these past few months.

Same old same old I'm afraid with rap and hip/hop now.

Maybe most talented.

Crooked came up with his 52 weeks. But his buzz died a bit until slaughter house.

Lil Wayne is quality. He isn't a conventianal rapper, in fact he can't really rap that well tbh. But his stye is unique, and if you 'get it', it really is fantastic. And if you don't, then you'll hate him, which is fair enough, each to their own and all that. His voice is very different, but personally I love it, and as Sol mentioned, he does do a lot of "Hmm err she yeah hmm HAH! hehehe ahem hmm errr nurrr HAH!" But that just adds to his uniqueness. Thats just my opion anyway.

Really enjoyed that track btw ^^^

He's no longer a rapper like 50 cent he's just trying to sell records to pre-teens.

Royce 5,9 is a legend in detroit and the surrounding area. Had never hear dof him till about 10 years ago when i was there and he was on all the stations.

Like I say, he doesn't actually rap very well. But what he does do is, on the whole, quality stuff. Very unique, and yeah you'll either love it or hate it.

And tbh, he shits all over 50 Cent.
