I'm halfway through and I was wondering, as someone who knows very little about the conflict, is it really worth a watch? Does it have enough depth? How inaccurate/biased is it?

I cannot advise on the accuracy of it, but I watched all of it and thought it was brilliantly made and all the stories were well told and very diverse in terms of background from either side
I think it’s one of the best documentary series I have ever seen.
It’s well researched, fair, and covers the human side of the conflict brilliantly without ever being sensationalist (most of it is interviews with people involved or affected, and the interviews are very thoughtful and not trying to lead to a particular narrative). I would highly recommend watching.
Yes, based off my sample size of looking at comments on Twitter and talking to a few friends who watched it too.
The same team did the “once upon a time in Iraq” series which was also very good, but I think this was up a notch, possibly because it’s a bit easier to show “both sides” and get a broad range of people to speak, plus it covers a longer time period.
