Ach..away and print yer Shite!
Bought all the papers today to savour all the glorious headlines (and extra-time related whinges of course) only for this churlish Twat to 'Piss on my Chips' with his half baked theory that yesterdays performance indicated City are now genuine Challengers and breathing down our necks ...This after a game that they lost conceding four very poorly defended goals...... and were completley outplayed in the second Half.
Thank Feck they never whooped us and kept a clean sheet!

Twattish comment!

He's not alone ... losing 4-3 in a ding dong away to the Champs is not all that bad ... until you analyse it.

As someone mentioned in another thread it's pretty clear these journos typed these pieces of shit before the game and were determined to print them no matter what, so long as the scoreline wasn't 4-0 or something.

City were good in the first half. Best i have seen them at OT. Thats what City should be taking from the game.

But they still have a way to go.

They need to tighten up at the back and retain the ball better uptop - which they probably would have done if Adebayor had played.

There not "breathing down our necks", but there are top four contenders.

Holt is one of the best sports journalists out there, in my opinion. He's far from anti-United.

Exactly what I thought when I saw that pathetic
Holt said:
"Okay, so Manchester City didn’t quite do it."
Crow-barred onto the start of his pre-written article!
Owen's goal must have fecked up a whole lot of dodgy copy.....Prats!

It's interesting how people go about Fergie talking about City which shows he is scared of them. Yet Hughes is hardly unwilling to comment on United, not to mention various City players. At least Fergie can back up his bravuda with consistent winning of trophies, and anyway the media complain when managers give bland interviews, press conferences etc.The media go about Fergie only talking about clubs and managers if they consider them a threat but that works both ways. And they themselves took a certain liking to United for a while because they feared Chelsea were going to completely dominate.

Holt is a complete sycophant, he claims to be a United fan but soon switched sides to write a load of pro-Chelsea bollocks in the anti-United rag that is the Mirror, now he appears to have jumped on the City bandwagon. A self-important gluebag if ever there was one.

There's a reason that he writes for the mirror and not a proper newspaper. The answer lies within his 'articles'.

In terms of the standard of his writing, this guy is terrible. Every second sentence is sensationalist bollocks, twisted to create some pre-defined shared opinion amongst the cretinous mongoloids who read his garbage....ie: 'I think today I'll make the spackers think that City are now the real deal and United are on the wane...of course they'll believe it if I make it sound dramatic enough'

The Mirror and not just Holt have had an anti Manchester United agenda for a while now,it is a rag

They were better when they beat us 2-1 two years ago. Or if you'd like a different spin on it, we were much more terrible that day than yesterday.

you obviously haven't seen and heard him on the SS Sunday journalist prog .. he's a rabid vile pratt and working for the Mirror does sum up how good  a hack he really is

City played like shit. Tottenham were better than that last week and they're shite. 200 million of big 4 rejects.

24 mins before they mounted there first real attack and that was because the utd defense lapsed.

When even Alan Hansen admits that we should have scored 10 in the second half, journos have to focus hard and take the most impressive piss in their lives to hit my chips, to use your metaphor.

i predicted this reaction after the second equaliser, absolute cliche. it was one of those games ansd had it been tottenham they wouldnt spouton about title credentials. pathetic, lazy ideas as always

I'm not saying he's right, but if Robinho had been playing they would have been much more threatening going forward. Robinho has got to be their best player.

With our midfield playing very deep in the first half, City bossed the centre park with relative ease in that half. Their two defensive midfielders made sure their central defence wasn't exposed and easily dealt with passes made down the middle. Truth be told, we only started playing well after they had equalised for the second time.

He sees it as a changing of the guard, but that's not how it is at all. The old guard just told the cocky new guard to feck off and go and stand somewhere else.

This.

I reckon Robinho would have caused less problems than Bellamy. Robinho might be their most technically gifted player but he didn't do much against United last season in both games, he generally struggled away from home. He 's clearly more suited to playing in Spain.

for journos like OH such an article is a "win-win". if City's season eventually flounders, the article is just forgotten about, if they go and and actually manage to achieve something, he can drag it up and say "i told you so!"....... city were good in the first half after Foster's stupidity gifted them level terms, but they were none existant in the second, however, the scoreline never reflected this as we could'nt break the door down and at the same time, Bellamy came up with two excellent finishes......

They know that this is what a lot of opposition supporters (i.e. the bulk of their readers) want to read.
